JUICE APPLE 3

The 'Juice Apple 3' variety is an autumn apple cultivar developed at the Sverdlovsk Station of Fruit Breeding by crossing the 'Ural'skoye nalivnoye' and 'Urozhaynoye' varieties. Trees of this variety are of medium height with a spreading-rounded crown and elongated dark green leaves. The variety is characterized by rapid growth and high winter hardiness, making it resistant to harsh climatic conditions. In addition, apple trees possess absolute immunity to scab, as well as resistance to such diseases as rust, powdery mildew, and spot.

Fruits of the 'Juice Apple 3' variety have an average weight of 70 to 85 grams, reaching 100-120 grams under favorable conditions. Apples are smooth, flattened, oblate-round in shape with a delicate cream skin, covered with a striped blush and speckles. The flesh is light cream, medium-grained, juicy with a pleasant fresh apple aroma and sour-sweet taste. Such flesh structure is particularly convenient for juice extraction, which is reflected in the variety's name. The maturity period falls in the second decade of September, while fruits can be stored until December.
