SUNRISE is a variety of antirrhinum (Lilium majus), known as snapdragon, valued for its bright and prolonged blooming. The plant belongs to the Plantain family and is characterized by its low growth: height ranges from 15 to 150 cm. Flowers have a characteristic shape resembling a lion's mouth and open when the sides are gently squeezed, giving them a unique look.
The 'SUNRISE' variety is distinguished by early flowering and strong branching, allowing plants to quickly fill the garden bed. It is not sensitive to day length, so it can bloom at almost the same time regardless of the season. The plant prefers fertilized, moderately moist loamy soil but shows good resistance to short-term drought and moderate cold.
For successful cultivation, antirrhinum is recommended to be placed in open, sunny areas or with partial shade. When planting, it is important to ensure sufficient ventilation to avoid waterlogging of the soil and diseases such as powdery mildew. Watering should be moderate, avoiding water getting on the leaves. Fertilization is not mandatory, but if necessary, light fertilizers can be used during the active growth period.
