Tulip Acapulco

Acapulco Tulip: High-Performance Production

In commercial floriculture, the «Acapulco» Darwin hybrid is synonymous with reliability and yield consistency. Farmers favor this variety for its robust stature and exceptional disease resistance profile, which significantly simplifies crop management during the forcing season.

Agronomic Advantages

The primary appeal of this variety is its resilience. It demonstrates high tolerance to Fusarium wilt, Alternaria leaf spot, Anthracnose, Cladosporium, root-knot nematodes, and Tomato mosaic virus. This genetic hardiness allows growers to reduce the input of chemical fungicides, ensuring a healthier and more cost-effective crop cycle.

Practical Applications

• Cut Flower Production: Known for its tall, sturdy stems and vibrant red-orange blooms, this variety is highly sought after for premium floral arrangements and professional bouquets.
• Commercial Forcing: The cultivar is prized for its uniformity, making it an excellent choice for large-scale greenhouse operations where predictable timing is essential.
• Landscaping: Given its mid-season bloom and tall habit, it creates a striking visual impact in municipal plantings and large garden projects.

The «Acapulco» hybrid is designed for professionals who prioritize operational efficiency. Its ability to maintain structural integrity and color intensity under various climate conditions makes it a top-tier choice for competitive markets. Whether for professional forcing or spring bedding, this variety delivers consistent high-quality results with minimal intervention.
