MAHAON

Antirrhinum (Snapdragon) – a decorative plant of the brassica family, widely used in gardening and floriculture due to its bright inflorescences resembling an open mouth. The plant can be grown as both annual and perennial, making it flexible for various climatic conditions.

The «MAHAON» variety belongs to the dwarf series with double and semi-double flowers. The bush is compact, upright, and well-branched; height in a pot is 10‑15 cm, in the garden – 25‑30 cm, width about 20–25 cm. Thanks to dense growth and strong flower stalks, the plant ensures abundant and prolonged flowering, while double shades make it particularly attractive for flower beds, borders, and container culture.

For successful antirrhinum cultivation, moderate lighting, nutrient-rich soil, and regular watering are required. The plant is easily propagated by seeds, but may be susceptible to fungal diseases (rust, gray mold, blackleg). With proper care, «MAHAON» demonstrates resistance to heat and high humidity, making it an excellent choice for decorative greening under various conditions.
