Antirrhinum GOHENKA

A Compact Antirrhinum for Professional and Home Gardening

The 'Goshenka' variety, developed by O.E. Hanbabaeva and E.V. Mamonov, is a dwarf Antirrhinum highly valued in landscape design and floriculture. It offers a diverse color palette, ranging from classic white and yellow to vibrant red, pink, and bicolor combinations, all within a compact, manageable growth habit.

Practical Applications in Agriculture

• Small-Scale Landscaping: Due to its dwarf size, this variety is ideal for edging borders, creating dense color blocks in flower beds, and integrating into vertical gardening structures.
• Container Gardening: The plant performs exceptionally well in hanging baskets and balcony boxes. It is resilient in limited soil volumes, provided there is a consistent irrigation schedule.
• Floriculture: Despite its dwarf structure, the density of the flower spikes allows 'Goshenka' to be used in interior floral arrangements and miniature bouquets, creating new sales opportunities for greenhouse producers.

When planning your cultivation, consider that its short stature allows for tighter planting schemes, which is highly advantageous for commercial seedling production. The plant requires minimal maintenance, retaining its ornamental appeal under conditions of moderate humidity and sufficient sunlight.
