Antirrhinum «ARTHUR» is a variety of snapdragon from the Plantaginaceae family (sometimes referred to as Scrophulariaceae). The plant is characterized by a long flowering period that begins in early summer and continues until mid-September. During this time, large two-lipped buds with rich petals – yellow, pink, lavender, red, or white – open at the tops of the shoots. The flowers are gathered into long spike inflorescences, giving the bush a decorative appearance and a sweet aroma.

The shrub growth of the snapdragon reaches a height of 0.15 to 1 meter. The leaves have an elliptical shape, elongated and colored dark-green or dull-green with vivid red veins. At the tops of the stems, the leaves are arranged sequentially, while on the lower part – opposite each other, which gives the bush a pyramidal structure.

Antirrhinum «ARTHUR» is easy to grow in open sunny places with light, fertile, and drained soils. The plant is unpretentious: it requires moderate watering, regular feeding, and removal of withered inflorescences to extend flowering. Seeds maintain germination for up to 3–4 years, allowing them to be used both in open ground and in greenhouses. Thanks to the bright flowers, the plant attracts bees and other pollinators, and can also serve as a decoration for garden compositions and bouquets.
