Antirrhinum Phoenix

The Magic of 'Phoenix': A Versatile Choice for Your Garden

The 'Phoenix' antirrhinum, developed by researchers at the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing, stands out among imported hybrids primarily due to its adaptability to volatile climate conditions. Unlike finicky western varieties that require strict temperature control, this variety demonstrates remarkable resistance to lodging and maintains its visual appeal even under fluctuating humidity.

Palette and Aesthetics

The series' main highlight is its extensive color spectrum. You are not limited to one tone: the range includes classic white, yellow, and vibrant red blooms, alongside sophisticated purple and bicolor variations. The bushy inflorescence type allows you to create dense, lush groups that look professional, even in the hands of a novice gardener.

Where Does 'Phoenix' Excel?

• Decorative Flowerbeds: Thanks to its robustness, the variety holds its shape perfectly in group plantings, without collapsing under the weight of the flowers after rain.
• Container Gardening: The compact nature of the bush makes it an ideal candidate for balcony boxes and tall planters. It requires minimal shaping and maintains a neat appearance for a long time.

Strengths: High decorative value, resistance to common crop diseases, and ease of maintenance.
Notes: Like all antirrhinums, it demands a sunny location—in deep shade, the intensity of the bloom color noticeably fades.

This variety is a choice for those who value predictable results and proven plant breeding. It is suitable for both large-scale landscape projects and quick, effective decoration of an urban terrace.
