Brazilian Carnival is a variety of antirrhinum (snapdragon) that differs in its high growth up to 80–85 cm and powerful, pyramidal habitus. The plant quickly gains height, forming dense bushes with large lanceolate leaves.
Antirrhinum flowering stems are located on short peduncles and are collected in tall inflorescences that can reach 4–5 cm in diameter. The flowers are two-lipped, 4–6 cm long, and have a bright color: white, yellow, pink, red, or dark purple, which makes the plant especially attractive for decorative compositions.
Brazilian Carnival is easy to grow in flower beds and garden plots thanks to its unpretentiousness and cold hardiness. It is perfect for both group plantings and single placement. The flowers can be used as cut flowers, and they also bloom well in water, making them popular among lovers of live bouquets.
