SLONENOK

The Slonenok zucchini variety is an early-maturing bush plant with a compact shape and small, light-green leaves featuring medium intensity mottling and a deeply lobed structure. The fruits of this variety are cylindrical, weakly ribbed, and short, colored green with intermittent dark stripes covering the entire surface. The average fruit weight ranges from 0.8 to 1.0 kg, with firm and not overly tender flesh possessing excellent taste. The fruits contain 4.4 to 5.6% dry matter and up to 3.0% total sugar, making them particularly attractive for culinary use.

The Slonenok variety is distinguished by high yield and good adaptation to various climatic conditions, including adverse weather situations. The yield of marketable fruits in the West Siberian region reaches 455-903 centners per hectare, which is 38-63% higher than the standard, while in the Far Eastern region it is about 350 centners per hectare. The plant grows well both in open beds and in greenhouses, expanding its cultivation possibilities.

For successful cultivation of the Slonenok variety, regular watering and soil fertilization are recommended. Seeds of this variety have a medium size, elliptical shape, and cream color, making them suitable even for beginner gardeners. Thanks to their characteristics and taste qualities, Slonenok zucchini is widely used in cuisine and is a reliable choice for personal subsidiary farms.
