Cucumber variety Aeronavt — an early-maturing and high-yielding zucchini variety with a vegetative period of 45-50 days. The plant is bushy, compact, with a small number of vines and a short main stem. Fruits are cylindrical, dark green in color with a smooth surface, sometimes with small light-green spots. Average fruit weight is about 1.3-1.5 kg. The skin is thin, the flesh is light-yellow, dense, tender, juicy, and moderately sweet, making the cucumber especially tasty and suitable for home cooking. Fruits are harvested while still immature for better flavor and usage.
Aeronavt variety is distinguished by good transportability and resistance to powdery mildew, which facilitates its storage and transport. The plant prefers fertile, well-warmed soils with pH 6-6.5 and a warm climate with an optimal growth temperature of 20-25°C. Seeds germinate at a temperature of 12-14°C, and even minor frosts can be detrimental to the plant. Cucumber can be grown both in open ground and under plastic cover, using seedlings or direct sowing of seeds.
For planting, it is recommended to follow a scheme of 80-100 cm between planting holes, sowing seeds at a depth of 3-6 cm depending on soil density. During fruiting, it is important to provide regular watering with warm water (22-35°C) in the morning every 2-3 days with a rate of 10-12 liters per square meter and to remove 1-3 leaves from the center of the bush to improve ventilation. Harvesting occurs twice a week, which helps maintain high-quality yields and stimulates further fruiting.
