The Zucchini variety Rolik is a very early, high-yield variety that can be grown both by seedling method and direct sowing into the ground. Seedling sowing is recommended in April, followed by transplanting into the ground in May-June, while direct sowing into the ground is recommended at the end of May or in June. The plant is bushy, compact, with shortened internodes and sparse foliage; the main tendril reaches a length of about 35 cm. This variety responds well to the application of organic fertilizers and is characterized by cold resistance, allowing it to be grown under various climatic conditions. Rolik zucchini fruits have an oval shape, smooth surface, and light green color. The fruit flesh is thick, loose, tender, and juicy, possessing a pleasant taste. The weight of a single fruit ranges from 0.9 to 1.3 kg. The absence of netting and pattern on the surface makes the fruits particularly attractive. The variety is valued for its good transportability and shelf life, which facilitates storage and transport of the harvest. Rolik zucchini is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 7 kg per square meter. In addition, the variety is resistant to powdery mildew and other diseases, reducing the need for frequent use of chemical plant protection means. These qualities make Rolik an excellent choice for growing both in private holdings and in commercial vegetable farming.
