Courgette Inessa is a new high-yielding hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground during spring, summer, and autumn cycles. The plant is characterized by a strong, bushy type, which ensures its resilience and allows for a long growing period. The hybrid demonstrates excellent results even under hot and stressful conditions, making it a versatile choice for various climatic zones.
Courgette Inessa fruits have a cylindrical shape, a length of 16-18 cm, and a weight ranging from 300 to 500 grams. Their rich green color with a glossy sheen is maintained throughout the entire growing period, giving them an attractive appearance. The fruit flesh is white, indicating high vegetable quality. A distinctive feature of this variety is the high uniformity of fruits without ribs, which improves marketable qualities and facilitates successful long-distance transportation.
The Inessa hybrid has high resistance to main viruses, including the cucurbit leaf crinkle virus (SLCV), as well as tolerance to silvering of courgette leaves. These characteristics significantly reduce the risk of diseases and increase crop stability. Seeds of this variety are produced by the company Enza Zaden in the Netherlands and are suitable for both home gardening and commercial farming.
