Description Sudar
The «Sudar» zucchini variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses. The period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 35-50 days, which allows for obtaining fresh fruits in a short time. The plant has a compact bush form, which facilitates care and placement on the plot. Fruits are cylindrical with ribbing at the base, light green in color with net-like coloring. The length of zucchinis varies from 15 to 18 cm, and the mass reaches 0.5-0.6 kg. The flesh is creamy-white, tender and juicy, possessing excellent taste qualities.

The «Sudar» variety is characterized by resistance to adverse environmental conditions and a number of diseases, including powdery mildew and bacterial blight, while fruits are weakly susceptible to rotting. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to choose well-lit areas protected from wind. For an early harvest, it is useful to use film coverings, which will protect young shoots from night frosts. The zucchini prefers light, fertile soils with a low groundwater level and does not tolerate acidic soils.

Agrotechnology of cultivation involves preparing the plot with digging and fertilization with organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as ash and liming if necessary. Sowing seeds is carried out at the end of May - beginning of June after the threat of frosts, with a distance between pits of no less than 60 cm. For an earlier harvest, cultivation through seedlings is possible, which are sown at the beginning of May and planted in open ground in the 2-4 leaf stage at the beginning of June. Care of plants includes regular watering, loosening, hilling, and top dressing. Fruits are harvested regularly at intervals of 2-3 days to avoid over-ripening.
