MECHIK

The "Mechik" zucchini variety is an early-maturing zucchini with unusual spherical fruits that begin to ripen 50-55 days after seedling emergence. The plants form compact, hemispherical bushes with shortened vines and small leaves of a pale-green hue. This variety is characterized by high cold hardiness and disease resistance, allowing it to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions. The flowers are bright yellow, and the bushes are not prone to overcrowding, which facilitates care and promotes good ventilation.

The fruits of the "Mechik" zucchini have an oval shape with slight ribbing at the base and are colored in greenish shades with small light spots. At the beginning of ripening, they are oval, then become spherical. The fruit mass varies from 100-150 g, which is ideal for stuffing, to larger specimens weighing 0.8-2.1 kg. The skin is thin, tender, and shiny, giving the fruits an attractive appearance. The taste of the fruits is tender and pleasant; they are rich in potassium, pectin, and vitamin C, making them nutritious and healthy.

Zucchini "Mechik" can be grown both by seedling and direct seeding methods. With the seedling method, the harvest is obtained 10-15 days earlier. For seedling planting, 20-30-day seedlings are recommended, planted after the threat of frost has passed and the soil has warmed to 16 degrees. Seeds are sown in mid-May at a depth of 4-6 cm, with 3-4 seeds per hill. The variety yields up to 15 kg per square meter, and thanks to the continuous formation of new ovaries in the center of the bush, fruiting continues until the first frost.
