Description Black Beauty
The Black Beauty zucchini is a medium-early, bush-type variety with a 50-55 day period from germination to the start of fruiting. The plant is strong and heavily leafed, producing 3 to 5 fruits per plant. Fruits are cylindrical, smooth and glossy, with a thin dark green skin, 18 to 22 cm long and weighing 0.7 to 1.0 kg. The flesh is pale greenish-white, tender and smooth, making this variety especially attractive for culinary use.

Black Beauty is characterized by high yield — up to 10 kg per plant. For cultivation, it is recommended to use warm, moist, and well-organic-fertilized soil, sowing seeds 3-5 cm deep at a spacing of 0.7x1.0 m. Plants require good lighting and protection from wind, and they do not tolerate frost. The optimal growth temperature is +20 to +25°C. Regular weeding, loosening, watering, and feeding are necessary during the fruit set period.

Black Beauty zucchini can be harvested when they reach 13-18 cm in length, though the optimal harvest length is 14-20 cm. These zucchini have tender flesh and low caloric content, making them suitable for various culinary applications: steaming, stewing, frying, grilling, or stuffing. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses, with harvesting possible from early July to August.
