Wheat variety 'Verность' is a high-yielding winter soft wheat variety developed using modern breeding achievements and adapted to unstable moisture conditions. Studies show that this variety possesses stable economically valuable traits, including high yield and grain quality, determined by genetic potential and specific features of productive tillering. An important factor is optimal seeding density, which takes into account moisture, variety type, and lodging risk, thus maximizing plant potential. The breeding work conducted to develop the 'Verность' variety employs modern selection methods and studies on inheritance of traits such as vegetative period duration and grain technological qualities. The laboratory involved in developing such varieties has a rich history and significant experience, including the creation of over a hundred soft winter wheat varieties, many of which have been successfully registered and used in Ukraine and other countries. This ensures high adaptability and intensity of cultivation of the 'Verность' variety under various agroclimatic conditions. Special attention is paid during cultivation of the 'Verность' variety to studying the impact of climatic factors on yield formation and grain quality, including protein content and its components. Thanks to this, the variety demonstrates resistance to moisture fluctuations and maintains high performance even under unstable moisture conditions. This approach enables effective use of the variety in modern agronomic technologies, ensuring stable and high-quality yields.
