Wheat variety Victoria Odeska is a high-yielding medium-late maturing variety with a yield potential of 6.9 to 10.5 tons per hectare, exceeding national standards by 3.9–13.4%. Plants are of medium height — 85 to 115 cm, with a vegetation period of 282–286 days. The ear is large, cylindrical, awned, 10.1–12.8 cm long, with white long awns. Grain is red, oval-egg-shaped, medium-sized, with 1000-grain weight of 35–39 g. The variety belongs to the group of strong wheats with high protein content (13.9–14.2%) and gluten (30.4–33.5%), ensuring high flour and bread quality with volume 1330–1480 cm³ and overall rating 4.6–4.9 points. Victoria Odeska is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and grain germination in the ear, as well as enhanced drought and heat tolerance. The variety has good winter hardiness and resistance to a wide range of diseases, including brown, stem, and yellow rust, powdery mildew, Fusarium ear blight, and root rot. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety demonstrates stable yield and grain quality performance across various agroclimatic conditions, particularly in forest-steppe zones. The wheat variety Victoria Odeska is versatile in use and exhibits enhanced ecological plasticity. It positively responds to improved agrofond and irrigation, allowing effective cultivation after non-leguminous predecessors. Sowing rate is 180–250 kg/ha or 4.5–5.5 million seeds per hectare. Due to its resilience to different sowing dates and adaptability to growing conditions, Victoria Odeska is a reliable choice for intensive agriculture.
