Wheat VASILICH

Reliable Grain Performance Under High Pathogen Pressure

The winter wheat variety "Vasilich," developed by the ANC "Donskoy," is a strategic choice for agronomists operating in regions prone to severe fungal outbreaks. Rather than relying on intensive chemical intervention, this variety leverages natural genetic resilience to combat common field diseases, making it a backbone for sustainable crop management.

Practical Field Application

The core advantage of "Vasilich" is its ability to maintain yields in high-risk zones. By demonstrating robust resistance to brown rust and stem rust, as well as high tolerance to powdery mildew, it allows farm managers to rationalize their fungicide spray schedules. This is particularly valuable for fields with high inoculum carryover from previous crops.

• Vegetation Cycle: A short maturity window of 90–100 days ensures the plant completes its grain-filling phase before the onset of peak summer droughts.
• Agronomic Stability: Excellent lodging resistance facilitates harvesting operations, reducing physical losses even in adverse weather conditions.
• Management Efficiency: Its resistance profile is optimized for regional climate patterns, providing a predictable performance metric for large-scale operations.

"Vasilich" is designed for growers who prioritize predictability. Its development timeline allows the crop to quickly recover after the winter dormancy period and build sufficient biomass before the stem elongation stage, where disease protection is most critical. By choosing this variety, producers invest in a reliable biological barrier that reduces the need for constant, reactive field monitoring.
