Maize EG 7077 HT CMS

French genetics for consistent grain yields

The Lidea EG 7077 XT CMS hybrid is a result of extensive breeding efforts by French scientists in the Airaines region, specifically developed to meet the rigorous demands of modern agriculture. Designed by the originator at Av Du Capitaine N Tchorere 80270, this hybrid is focused exclusively on maximizing grain production and quality.

Crop health and pathogen resistance

A key strength of the EG 7077 XT CMS lies in its genetic resilience to the most common challenges in maize production. In environments prone to high humidity and temperature fluctuations, which often trigger fungal outbreaks, this hybrid demonstrates superior tolerance to:

• Helminthosporium leaf blight, which frequently compromises the leaf surface area;
• Fusarium ear rot, ensuring better grain quality and preventing losses;
• Stem borer (Sesamia genus), which significantly reduces the risk of lodging and yield depletion.

These agronomic traits allow growers to optimize their expenditure on fungicide and insecticide treatments, creating a more sustainable and economically efficient cultivation cycle.

Market positioning and usage

The Lidea EG 7077 XT CMS hybrid occupies a robust position in the current portfolio of high-performance grain solutions. The French breeding tradition ensures predictable development even under intensive farming conditions. Farmers choosing this hybrid benefit from balanced genetics that offer not only high yield potential but also strong resistance to critical biological risks, effectively protecting their investment in seeds against seasonal climatic and phytopathological surprises.
