ERMOLOVKA is a winter wheat variety developed at PJSC "Sheлково Agrochemical" under the supervision of breeder Alexander Pryanisnikov. It belongs to the lutescens type, characterized by white heads without awns and red grains. Plants reach a height of 75-90 cm and have a medium-early maturity period. The variety is distinguished by high yield, which can exceed 150 centners per hectare, making it attractive for intensive farming.
One of the key features of the Ermolovka variety is its resistance to main wheat diseases, such as powdery mildew, yellow and brown rust, as well as septoria. Moreover, the variety has good winter hardiness and lodging resistance, which ensures crop stability under unfavorable weather conditions. However, it is less susceptible to drought, which should be taken into account when choosing a growing region.
The Ermolovka variety demonstrates high adaptability and a positive response to intensification factors, including nitrogen nutrition, which contributes to increasing production efficiency. The creation and introduction of such varieties is part of the domestic breeding strategy aimed at reducing dependence on imported seeds and increasing the productivity of Russian agriculture. Thanks to modern breeding methods and scientific support, varieties developed at "Sheлково Agrochemical" are in demand across the country and contribute to the development of the agro-industrial complex.
