SU Aventinus — ultra-early semi-dwarf winter wheat variety of European origin, developed by Limagrain in France. This variety belongs to Type B and is characterized by a short stem, providing very high resistance to lodging. Optimal sowing dates are from September 15 to October 5, with a seeding rate of 4.0–5.0 million seeds per hectare. It is recommended for cultivation on fertile soils with optimal preceding crops such as winter rape and intercrops, using conventional soil preparation. The vegetation period of SU Aventinus lasts from 259 to 274 days, plant height reaches 80–85 cm. The ear is cylindrical, medium density, and glumeless. The 1000-seed mass is high, contributing to good germination and tillering. The variety demonstrates high drought and disease resistance, including powdery mildew, rust, and Fusarium ear blight, as well as excellent winter hardiness and tolerance to stress conditions. Resistance to lodging and lodging is rated at 9 points, guaranteeing stable yield even under adverse weather conditions. Quality indicators of SU Aventinus grain include high protein and gluten content (about 27%), falling number — 333, and grain density reaching 827 g/L.
