The Stanichnaya soft winter wheat variety is a mid-early and mid-height variety created through intraspecific stepwise hybridization and purposeful selection. It is characterized by an intermediate bush form, lack of waxy coating, as well as a white, spindle-shaped ear of medium length and density. The variety's grain is oval, red, with a 1000-grain weight of approximately 45 grams and a natural density of 810 g/l. Gluten content in the grain averages 27.5%, classifying it as a strong wheat variety with excellent milling and bread-making qualities.
Stanichnaya is distinguished by high resistance to drought, brown rust, and powdery bunt, as well as medium resistance to powdery mildew. The variety's frost hardiness is comparable to the Tarasovskaya 29 variety. It possesses high adaptability to late sowing dates and does not require the use of pesticides and retardants. It is recommended for cultivation in the regions of the North Caucasus and Lower Volga districts, specifically in the Rostov and Volgograd regions.
