KILOMERIC

KILOMERIC is a mid-early maize hybrid with a FAO index of 270, intended for silage, grain, and biogas production. It is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and a pronounced Stay Green effect, ensuring prolonged retention of green mass and high productivity. Plants reach a height of 280-300 cm, with ears attached at 100-110 cm, promoting the formation of strong, large ears with 12-14 rows of kernels and 34-40 kernels per row. Kernel type is starchy, with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 310-330 g, and medium dry matter content, facilitating harvest and subsequent processing. The KILOMERIC hybrid demonstrates high disease tolerance, ensuring stable yields under varying climatic conditions. Yield potential reaches up to 140 ц/ha of grain and up to 700 ц/ha of green mass, making it among the most productive among registered hybrids. Recommended planting density varies depending on growing conditions: 80-90 thousand plants per hectare under favorable conditions and 55-65 thousand under adverse conditions. Due to its adaptability and resilience, the hybrid is suitable for various agronomic systems and regions. KILOMERIC is also an effective choice for biogas plants, thanks to its high dry matter content and stable yield. Its robust ears and high dry matter yield per hectare make this hybrid economically advantageous for integrated use in agriculture. The average yield of normalized dry matter in the region reaches 189.6 ц/ha, confirming its high productivity and economic attractiveness for farmers.
