Wheat Zodiac

ZODIAC is a variety of soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), characterized by a medium-early maturity period and medium height. It has enhanced winter hardiness and high resistance to lodging, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The variety is distinguished by its high frost- and drought-resistance, which contributes to stable yields even in complex weather conditions.

Wheat ZODIAC is characterized by high resistance to main diseases, such as brown rust, yellow rust, powdery mildew, bunt, and septoria. These qualities ensure crop preservation and reduce the need for intensive plant protection. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 40 to 49 grams, indicating good grain quality suitable for various types of processing and use in the food industry.

The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the North Caucasus, Lower Volga, and Central Black Earth regions, as well as in separate zones of the Rostov region and the Karachayevo-Cherkess Republic.
