Description CHERNOZEMKA 130
CHERNOZEMKA 130 is a soft winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety with a mid-early maturity period and high genetic potential for grain productivity. Depending on the region, the vegetative period ranges from 218 to 322 days. The plant is characterized by medium or low average height (78 to 107 cm), with resistance to lodging and grain germination. The mass of 1000 grains varies within 36-47 g, indicating the variety's large grain size. The ear is pyramidal in shape, medium length and density, with white grain color and moderate waxy coating on the straw and sheath of the flag leaf. The variety is distinguished by good winter hardiness, which in some regions exceeds average levels, as well as drought resistance at the level of known standard varieties such as Turquoise and Kazanskaya 560. Moderately resistant to powdery mildew, susceptible to brown rust and Fusarium of the ear, as well as to common bunt. Under field conditions, it may be susceptible to snow mold damage, which requires attention during cultivation. Yield of the variety is high and stable: in the Middle Volga region, it reaches an average of 36.4 c/ha, with maximum indicators up to 76.4 c/ha, and in the North Caucasus region, average yield is about 48.6 c/ha. CHERNOZEMKA 130 is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Central Black Earth, Middle Volga, and North Caucasus, as well as in the Republic of Mordovia, Ulyanovsk region, and Stavropol region. The variety is suitable for intensive agriculture due to good baking qualities of the grain, making it valuable for the production of high-quality flour. Thanks to resistance to lodging and drought, as well as high yield, this variety is a profitable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality harvest of soft winter wheat.
