RGT Premiant

Wheat variety RGT Premiant is a medium-late winter wheat with high yield potential, reaching 90-130 c/ha. This variety features a lush, awnless form, plant height around 88 cm, and thousand-grain weight within 42-52 g. RGT Premiant has strong compensatory ability and high winter hardiness, providing reliable protection against adverse autumn conditions and promoting stable crop development across various climatic zones of Ukraine and other countries.

The variety exhibits high resistance to major leaf diseases, including head fusarium, septoria, brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, as well as pyrenophorosis and cercosporosis. Winter hardiness is rated at 9 points, lodging resistance is also high — 9 points, making this variety a reliable choice for intensive farming. Drought resistance is rated at 7 points, enabling cultivation in areas with varying moisture levels, including zones with sufficient and moderate moisture.

Recommended seeding rates depend on sowing dates: for early dates — 3.0-3.6 million seeds per hectare, for optimal — 3.5-4.2 million, for late — 3.8-4.6 million. The variety belongs to the "valuable A" quality group, confirming its high technological and consumer characteristics.
