Wheat Artist

Wheat variety 'Artist' is a medium-height winter-hardy variety with high yield potential and excellent adaptability to adverse growing conditions. This variety belongs to the compensatory type, ensuring uniform grain filling of all spikelets and stable grain drop rate. Early grain filling helps prevent thinness, especially in drought-prone areas, and enables high yield formation. Artist is characterized by high stem density, high spike fertility, and significant thousand-grain weight, positively affecting both quality and quantity of harvest.

The variety exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including cercosporosis, powdery mildew, septoria, pyrenophorosis, yellow and brown rust, as well as root rots and snow mold. Due to its low lodging tendency, the need for growth regulators is reduced, simplifying agronomic practices. Artist demonstrates stable yield performance both with and without fungicides, making it economically advantageous for cultivation.

The variety is suitable for early and optimal sowing, and also allows for late sowing. It adapts well to various soil conditions, including light soils, and can be grown after cereal crops and corn. The grain of variety Artist is characterized by high test weight and high flour yield, making it valuable for producing high-quality flour. Seeds are packaged in 50 kg bags and big-bags of 1000 kg, which is convenient for storage and transportation.
