Wheat ICEBERG ODESSKY

Reliable Durability: Winter Durum Wheat

The 'Aisberg Odeskyi' winter durum wheat variety is a proven choice for farms focused on high-quality grain production with specific technological parameters. Developed by the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute under the guidance of L.T. Babayants, this variety offers high adaptability to the climatic risks common in southern regions.

Robust Disease Resistance

The standout feature of 'Aisberg Odeskyi' is its high resistance to rust. For farm management, this translates into a more predictable crop protection strategy. By reducing the reliance on aggressive fungicide applications, growers can maintain leaf health and photosynthetic activity through the grain-filling stage, which is crucial for achieving high test weight and vitreousness.

Field Management Insights

• Agronomic Performance: The variety responds well to standard winter wheat practices, showing excellent vigor and crop density.
• Operational Benefits: Its specific resistance to rust diseases simplifies the scouting process and reduces input costs, providing a more stable ROI in seasons with high humidity.
• End-Use Application: Specifically bred for high-quality food applications, this variety is highly sought after by processors for pasta and semolina production.

Choosing this variety makes sense for growers who need to balance yield potential with a high level of disease protection. Thanks to the expertise of the Odessa-based breeding center and partners like 'Agrosemtrans', farmers get a robust solution for the current agricultural climate.
