Description KANYUK
The Kanyuk soft spring wheat variety is a mid-maturing, high-yielding intensive type variety developed by French breeders SECOBRA Recherches. The vegetative period ranges from 76 to 99 days. This dwarf variety is characterized by high tillering and lodging resistance, which contributes to stable yield formation. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 37 to 46 grams, indicating the large grain size of the variety.

Kanyuk possesses high resistance to a range of diseases, including brown and yellow rust, powdery mildew, septoria, and fusarium of the ear. Thanks to these qualities, the variety demonstrates stable yield, which in the Central region averages 38.1 centners per hectare, while maximum indicators in state trials reach up to 70.4 centners per hectare. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Rязан region.

In addition to high productivity and disease resistance, Kanyuk wheat has good baking qualities comparable to the filler variety. Furthermore, the variety is suitable for making wheat beer, which expands its application possibilities in the food industry. Protein content in the grain is at an average level, ensuring balanced technological characteristics.
