ISETY 45 is a soft spring wheat variety developed by URFANIC URO RAS and registered for cultivation in the Kurgan region and the Urals. This medium-early variety has a vegetation period of 71-90 days and ripens simultaneously with the Omskaya 36 variety. The plant is of medium height with a semi-upright bush and a pyramidal ear of medium density, white in color. The grain is red, medium-sized, semi-elongated, with a 1000-grain mass ranging from 29 to 37 grams. The ear has a strong waxy coating, which contributes to resistance to unfavorable conditions, as well as short awn-like appendages at the end. The ISETY 45 variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and drought resistance at the level of the standard, ensuring crop stability under various climatic conditions. The grain does not shatter and is resistant to sprouting on the root and in windrows. The potential yield of the variety reaches 40-45 centners per hectare, with an average yield in the Urals region of about 20 centners per hectare, and up to 22 centners per hectare in the Kurgan region, which exceeds the indicators of the Omskaya 36 standard. The maximum registered yield reached 46.5 centners per hectare. Technological and bakery qualities of ISETY 45 are at a good level. Gluten content is about 31.7%, and gluten deformation index is 83.5%, ensuring a voluminous bread yield within 565-970 cm³. The gluten quality corresponds to the second group, making the variety suitable for bakery production. However, the variety is susceptible to certain diseases, such as brown rust, powdery mildew, root rots, and ergot, which requires the application of appropriate agronomic measures to protect crops.
