Sonett

SONETT is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) with a medium maturity period, belonging to the lutescens type. Plants are characterized by short or medium height with a semi-upright, intermediate bush type. The ear is cylindrical, of medium density, and white in color. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 34 to 43 grams depending on the growing region. The variety is resistant to lodging and has medium drought-resistant properties, which ensures crop stability under various climatic conditions. SONETT is included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements for the Northwestern and Central regions of Russia, recommended for cultivation in the Kaliningrad and Rязан (Ryazan) regions. The average yield of the variety ranges from 28.5 to 30.4 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators up to 56.6 c/ha. Bread-making qualities of the variety are rated from satisfactory to good, making it suitable for producing high-quality flour and bakery products. The SONETT variety is characterized by reliability and adaptability to various growing conditions, which allows for its use in agrotechnologies with a moderate risk level. Thanks to its resistance to lodging and drought, as well as stable yield, it is a profitable choice for farmers focused on obtaining quality grain with good technological characteristics.
