Description Krasnodarsky 599 MV
Corn hybrid Krasnodarsky 599 MV is a late-maturing simple modified hybrid intended for grain and silage production. The plant is medium- or tall, with a cylindrical medium-length ear and colored stalk. The kernels are toothed and yellow at the top. The tassel flowering time is medium-late, with a characteristic structure of lateral branches and weak to moderate anthocyanin pigmentation of silk. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the central and southern foothill zones of the Krasnodar region, and is suitable for the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions.

The hybrid's yield is stable and exceeds standard levels: in the North Caucasus region, the average grain yield is 56.0 centners per hectare, which is 1.0 centner per hectare above the standard, while in the Lower Volga region, the yield of normalized dry matter reaches 93.4 centners per hectare, exceeding the standard by 10.4 centners per hectare. The hybrid exhibits resistance to southern helminthosporiosis, is slightly affected by bubble head fungus, has medium resistance to ear fusarium, and strong resistance to bacterial disease. It is moderately damaged by corn borer.

To successfully grow Krasnodarsky 599 MV corn, it is recommended to sow seeds in warmed soil at a temperature not lower than +12 degrees Celsius. The crop is light-loving and requires optimal temperatures within the range of +20 to 30 degrees Celsius, as well as regular watering to maintain high yields. Timely weed control and soil loosening are essential. Thanks to its characteristics and disease resistance, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality grain and silage.
