AZIEVA MEMORIAL WHEAT

Wheat of the «Azieva Memorial» variety is a soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of medium-early maturity with a vegetative period of 74-79 days. The variety is characterized by a large number of grains per ear and an average weight of 1000 grains of about 35-36 grams. It possesses high potential yield, achieved due to the combination of drought resistance, powdery mildew resistance, as well as high ear productivity. Protein content in the grain is about 15%, and raw gluten is about 34.8-40%, which ensures excellent baking qualities and classifies the variety as strong wheat.

The «Azieva Memorial» variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, which contributes to yield preservation and improved grain quality. However, it is moderately resistant to bunt and powdery mildew, and susceptible to covered bunt and brown rust, so seed treatment against bunt diseases is recommended for protection. Overall, the variety shows medium resistance to drought and various diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions.

This variety is included in the state registers of several regions and demonstrates yield in the range of 4.5-6.6 tons per hectare during trials.
