DKC4608 sweet corn is a high-yielding hybrid with high yield potential and excellent grain quality. The plant features a strong structure and a robust root system, ensuring its resistance to stressful conditions and common corn diseases. The hybrid exhibits rapid maturity under drought stress, facilitating timely harvest and reducing yield loss risks.
DKC4608 is adapted to various soil-climate conditions and is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe zones of Ukraine. It is suitable for different cultivation technologies, including conventional and minimal tillage, and can be grown in monoculture. Seeds can be sown at soil temperatures as low as 8 °C, expanding the sowing window and enhancing agronomic flexibility.
Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 50,000–60,000 plants per hectare in drier areas and 65,000–70,000 plants per hectare in well-watered zones.
