Description Fabius
Fabius — an early-maturing winter wheat variety, distinguished by high grain quality and stable yield potential. The variety is characterized by a glabrous type and can yield from 90 to 120 c/ha (7-10 t/ha). The grain contains 13.0 % to 13.9 % protein and 26.5 % - 29.4 % crude gluten, with a 1000-seed mass ranging from 36.4 to 41.0 grams, indicating its high quality and suitability for various processing purposes.

One of the key features of the Fabius variety is its increased resistance to major wheat diseases, as well as tolerance to adverse weather conditions such as drought and frost. Thanks to these qualities, the variety demonstrates stable performance even under challenging climatic conditions. Drought resistance is rated as moderate, allowing wheat cultivation in various regions with variable moisture levels.

The Fabius variety was developed by the European seed company Saatbau and is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including Ivano-Frankivska, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Sumy, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Optimal sowing dates are from September 10 to 25, with a seeding rate of 3.6-4.2 million seeds per hectare. Packaging is available in 25 kg bags, convenient for storage and transportation.
