Winter wheat variety "Pokrovskaya" is a high-yielding and resilient crop developed by Ukrainian breeders. This variety is characterized by high productivity, reaching 80-83 c/ha (7.1-10.2 t/ha), and is intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissya regions. "Pokrovskaya" exhibits high resistance to frost and drought, as well as resistance to lodging, germination, and grain shattering, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Medium-height crop reaches approximately 90 cm and forms a strong, well-awarded pyramidal ear with large, well-filled red kernels. The variety shows high resistance to major diseases and pests, including brown rust, powdery mildew, fusarium, vinegar fly, and stink bug. The grain possesses high quality indicators: protein content ranges from 13.3% to 14.2%, gluten content is 26.5-35%, and flour strength reaches 270 arbitrary units. Thousand-kernel weight falls within the range of 38.8-41.5 grams, indicating high quality of seed material. The variety belongs to the erythrospermum type and has high productive tillering, contributing to stable and high yields. "Pokrovskaya" wheat is produced in elite reproduction, guaranteeing purity and calibrated seed material. Thanks to its adaptive properties and resistance to adverse factors, this variety is widely used in agriculture for obtaining high-quality grain with excellent taste characteristics. It is ideally suited for cultivation in forest-steppe and Polissya regions, ensuring stable and high yields even under extreme drought and frost conditions.
