Wheat Divo Donetsk

Maximizing Yield in Intensive Farming

"Dyvo Donetske" is a winter soft wheat variety developed by the Donetsk Agricultural Research Station (NAAS of Ukraine), specifically designed for growers focusing on high-input efficiency and predictable yields. With a potential output of 9–10 tons per hectare, it serves as a robust choice for operations leveraging modern fertilization and crop management strategies.

Agrotechnical Performance

The variety is known for its excellent productivity, forming 4.5–5.0 million productive stems per hectare. Standing at 80–90 cm, the crop exhibits high resistance to lodging, which is essential for maintaining stand integrity even after intensive nitrogen applications. The 90–100 day growing period (post-dormancy) ensures a streamlined cycle that fits perfectly into standardized rotation schedules.

Key benefits for field management include:

• Disease Resistance: The variety shows strong natural resistance to loose smut and stem smut, reducing the reliance on chemical seed treatments.
• Fungal Protection: Excellent resistance to brown rust, septoria, and various leaf spots (including Mycosphaerella) helps maintain a green, active canopy during the critical grain-filling period.
• Reliability: The focus on resistance significantly lowers the risk of epidemic spread within the field, optimizing fungicide spray schedules.

By prioritizing "Dyvo Donetske," farmers can minimize crop loss risks while maximizing the biological ceiling of their land.
