Soft winter wheat of the AYUTA® variety is a mid-season grain wheat variety created through intraspecific hybridization between the Reda Don and Lupus varieties. The plants are low-stemmed, with a height of 70 to 88 centimeters, which provides resistance to lodging. The ear is cylindrical, medium length and density, with a 1000-grain mass ranging from 43 to 53 grams. The variety is characterized by high yield, with maximum yields reaching 11.06 tons per hectare, and 7.53 tons per hectare in competitive trials.
AYUTA® exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including brown and yellow rust, as well as powdery bunt. Additionally, the variety demonstrates moderate resistance to powdery mildew and enhanced frost hardiness. Drought resistance is at a high level, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. It is recommended for cultivation in regions with high and medium agroecology, such as the North Caucasus, Lower Volga, and Central Black Earth regions.
The AYUTA® variety is widely used in the food and feed industries due to the high quality of the grain. It is used for flour production, bread, confectionery, and spices. Excellent milling and baking qualities make this variety valuable for agrarians and food producers, ensuring a stable and high-quality crop.
