Description AIVINA
Aivina is a semi-dwarf winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety characterized by a medium-early to medium-late maturation period and a semi-dwarf plant type. The vegetative period ranges from 228 to 275 days, with plant height varying between 85-112 cm. The variety is distinguished by its resistance to lodging and high drought tolerance, comparable to varieties such as Pamiat and Don 95. The mass of 1000 grains falls within the range of 35-46 grams, indicating good grain quality. Aivina belongs to the lutescens subgroup and exhibits high resistance to shattering, which aids in maintaining yield during harvesting.

The primary purpose of the Aivina variety is to produce consistently high grain yields. Average yield in recommended regions reaches 57.1 centners per hectare, with a maximum of 97.8 centners per hectare. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, including Stavropol Krai and the Republic of Adygea. Thanks to its winter hardiness at the level of the Pamiat variety and drought resistance, Aivina is suitable for cultivation under variable climate conditions and limited moisture.

Aivina possesses good bread-making qualities and high resistance to major wheat diseases. The variety is resistant to yellow, brown, and stem rusts, as well as powdery mildew. Additionally, it demonstrates moderate resistance to septoria and Fusarium head blight. However, the variety is susceptible to loose smut. Due to the combination of high productivity, resistance to adverse conditions and diseases, Aivina is a reliable choice for agricultural producers seeking stable and quality harvests.
