PX 18 P 6 is a high-yielding transgenic corn hybrid with FAO 260, characterized by a strong stem without cavities and large leaves. The ears of this variety are long, reaching up to 32 cm in length and weighing about 650 g, which contributes to high yields of up to 210 centners per hectare. The seeds have a moisture content of 13% and high purity of 99.99%, ensuring quality planting and stable plant development. The recommended seeding rate is 18 kg per hectare, which is optimal for achieving maximum yield across the entire territory of Ukraine.
For successful cultivation of PX 18 P 6, medium and clay soils are preferred; however, in northern regions of Ukraine, planting is possible on sandy-loam, sandy, and sandy soils provided there is adequate moisture and complete nutrition. Corn develops well at a soil pH level from 5.6 to 7.2. On light soils, it is recommended to apply nitrogen fertilizers containing sulfur during the 5-6 leaf stage, incorporating them into the root zone using inter-row feeding equipment or applicators. Using YaraBela Sulfan N24 S6 fertilizer promotes effective nitrogen uptake due to sulfur content, positively affecting plant growth and development.
To enhance productivity and health of corn, it is recommended to use the complex fertilizer FLORENTA, intended for pre-sowing seed treatment and foliar feeding. This fertilizer contains a balanced combination of macro- and microelements in easily assimilable chelated forms, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, manganese, copper, zinc, boron, molybdenum, nickel, and cobalt. High concentration of active substances, complete solubility, and stability during storage ensure effective plant nutrition. The recommended application rate is 3–3.5 liters per ton of seeds for treatment and 1–3 liters per hectare for foliar feeding, which contributes to optimal plant development and increased corn yield.
