Origin: the variety was created in 1975 at the Transnistrian Experimental Orchard Station by selection from the local gene pool of the Greek walnut.

Noted for its early fruit ripening, high yield, and attractive fruits.
Tree — vigorous.
Disease sensitivity — low sensitivity.
Flowering: occurs at the beginning of May. Flowering type — protogynous.
Fruit set: predominantly apical fruiting. Average yield from a pistillate tree, aged about 85 years, is 61 kg.
Fruits: elliptical, medium-sized, weighing 10.9-13.3 grams. Harvest maturity occurs in mid-September.
Shell: 1.2 mm thick, nearly smooth surface, easily cracks.
Kernel: makes up 48.9-50.0% of fruit mass, light-colored, good taste. Contains: fats — 67.3-69.6%, proteins — 12.4-15.9%, sugars — 8.9-13.8%.
