ALMINSKY

Walnut 'Alminsky' is a seedling from free pollination of the local form of the walnut, obtained at the State Nikita Botanical Garden and recognized for state testing in 1990. Trees of this variety reach a height of about ten meters, have a widely rounded and relatively dense crown, which ensures good protection of fruits from unfavorable conditions.

The fruits of 'Alminsky' are characterized by an average weight of approximately 10.8 grams and a round shape. The kernel yield is 43.6%, and the fat content is 61.3%. The protein composition of the walnut reaches 21.3%, making it a valuable source of nutrients. Due to these parameters, the fruits are suitable for a wide range of applications: from a food product to raw material in industry.

The variety is characterized by early fruiting and belongs to the medium maturity period, which allows for more accurate planning of yield.
