The Aelita plum fruits are large, weighing 7-8 grams, with a flat-round shape, yellow skin, and a bright red, diffuse blush covering the entire surface. The flesh is creamy-yellow, very juicy, firm, and has a pleasant dessert-like flavor with a harmonious sweet note. The stone is small and easily separates from the flesh. The tasting evaluation of the fruit's flavor quality ranges from 4.4 to 4.6 out of 5 points.
The Aelita plum variety ripens at the beginning of July. The fruits are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption as well as for making compotes, jams, and other home preserves.
