This pea variety has high cold resistance: seedlings withstand frosts down to –6 °C, which expands the possibilities for its cultivation in various climatic conditions. Moreover, Star is not demanding on soil fertility and is capable of enriching it with nitrogen thanks to root nodules, which contributes to improving the structure and fertility of the arable layer.
