ZONDA

Vegetable pea variety ZONDA is a mid-season, high-yielding variety with a vegetation period of about 50 days. The plant reaches a height of approximately 65 cm and is characterized by up to 14 nodes, each producing two pods 7-8 cm long. Each pod contains 6-7 uniform dark green peas that easily detach from the pod. The pods are straight, retain their sweet flavor, and can remain on the plant for a long time without losing their quality. The variety is distinguished by high stress resistance and resistance to fusarium, ensuring a stable yield year after year. ZONDA peas have an increased sugar content — about 6% — making them particularly attractive to consumers. The plant's leaves have a dark green color, and the leaf rosette promotes good plant development. ZONDA is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. It is widely used for fresh market sales, as well as for canning, freezing, and processing. Recommended for summer and spring planting with a seeding rate of 2-4 kg per 100 m². The variety is produced in Switzerland, guaranteeing high-quality seeds.
