Fluffy Tail is a high-yield variety of bush-type dill intended for cultivation in open and protected ground. This mid-season variety is characterized by a period from germination to mass harvesting of greens of 40-45 days, and to spice collection - about 80 days. Plants differ in dense leaf placement and strong aromaticity, which makes them especially valuable for culinary use. Later bolting and formation of additional basal rosettes at the base of the stem contribute to an increase in green mass yield.
The mass of greens from one plant is 30-40 grams, and yield reaches about 3 kg per square meter. When harvested for spices, the mass of one plant increases to 90-100 grams, and yield - up to 4 kg per square meter. Thanks to such indicators, the variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and use as a condiment for pickling and marinating. In addition, dill is well suited for drying and freezing, which expands its application possibilities.
To obtain greens in a continuous mode, it is recommended to sow seeds several times per season with an interval of 10-15 days. Winter sowing is also possible, which allows optimizing the timing and increasing the total yield. All these features make the Fluffy Tail variety universal and easy to grow, providing a stable and abundant yield of aromatic greens.
