KRAASAVCHIK is a modern dill variety, distinguished by high yield and a late maturity period. The period from germination to green cutting is 55-65 days, allowing for a powerful, leafy bush with large, tender, and very aromatic leaves measuring 28-36 cm in length and 30-36 cm in width. The adult plant reaches a height of 120-135 cm, demonstrating rapid growth and high cold hardiness. The variety is characterized by a long period without the formation of an umbel, which increases the harvesting time for greens and allows the dill to be used for fresh consumption, drying, freezing, and the preparation of green oil.
KRAASAVCHIK forms compact and closed plants with several additional basal rosettes at the stem base. The leaves are dark green and aromatic, making the variety universal for various applications, including pickling and use as a spice. Highly aromatic seeds are also valued as a condiment. Yield when harvesting for greens reaches 2.5-4.5 kg per square meter, while for spice harvesting it reaches up to 4 kg per square meter.
The variety is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and bolting, ensuring a long harvesting period and the ability to grow in various conditions, including open and closed ground, as well as hydroponics. The green mass always remains dark green, maximally aromatic and juicy, making KRAASAVCHIK a unique choice for commercial growing and home use.
