Lily «Barnaul» is an Asian hybrid distinguished by its high decorative potential and resistance to climate conditions. The plant reaches a height of 76–100 cm, with long, wide leaves featuring an outward-curved tip, creating a harmonious contour around the scape.
The scape is straight and sturdy, measuring 65–70 cm in length, typically bearing 9 to 17 flowers. During peak season, 3–5 blooms open simultaneously, forming a racemose inflorescence. The flowers are bicolor: the main coloration is greenish-yellow, while the basal part of the petal has a glossy orange-yellow hue. The vertical diameter is approximately 3.5 cm, and the horizontal diameter is 12 cm.
The blooming period lasts about 17 days, and the plant has no fragrance. The bulb scales are dark brown, and the roots are fibrous, ensuring good resistance to diseases and pests. Lily «Barnaul» is characterized by high winter hardiness and moderate heat tolerance, making it ideal for decorative greening in forest and forest-steppe zones.
