Tulip Rosamunde

Predictability in Commercial Floriculture

For professional growers, the Rosamunde tulip is synonymous with operational efficiency. As a member of the Triumph class, this variety offers reliable performance during forcing, which is essential for hitting tight market windows. The high stem height allows for a premium-grade cut, while the robust petal structure ensures durability during post-harvest transport and cold chain logistics.

Operational Advantages

• Resilience and Health: The variety exhibits impressive resistance to a wide range of pathogens. In greenhouse conditions, it shows high tolerance to Fusarium wilt and Alternaria, reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications. Its resistance to Cladosporium and Phytophthora simplifies climate control, particularly regarding humidity management.
• Production Schedule: Classified as mid-season, Rosamunde fits seamlessly into production cycles, bridging the gap between early and late varieties. The clear pink hue maintains its vibrancy throughout the forcing process, ensuring high marketability.
• Maintenance Efficiency: With a naturally rigid and tall stem, the plant maintains excellent structural integrity. Growers save significant labor hours, as the crop requires minimal support or row-straightening efforts, even during the final stages of growth.

Working with Rosamunde means minimizing waste and maximizing uniformity. It is a variety engineered for performance, providing the consistency that large-scale operations demand.
