Tulip Jackpot

Aesthetics of the Triumph Class

The 'Jackpot' tulip has secured a firm position in the Triumph class segment. Breeding of this type is traditionally focused on achieving a perfect balance between visual appeal and physiological endurance, making it a preferred choice for both professional forcing operations and landscape design.

Character and Color Palette

The hallmark of this variety is its striking appearance: a deep burgundy hue complemented by a distinct, crisp white margin on the edges of the petals. This high-contrast palette creates a dynamic effect that looks exceptional in mass plantings and professional floral arrangements. With its medium height, it fits perfectly into the middle tier of flower beds and serves as an excellent cut flower.

Agricultural Advantages

One of the key drivers of the commercial success of 'Jackpot' is its enhanced resistance to common pathogens. Its inherent stability against a range of fungal diseases significantly reduces the complexity of cultivation:

• High resistance to Fusarium, the common challenge for many Dutch hybrids.
• Strong immunity against Verticillium wilt and Anthracnose, ensuring clean, healthy foliage throughout the growing season.
• Resistance to Ascochyta blight, which is critical for field cultivation in high-humidity conditions.

Falling into the mid-season blooming category, this variety performs predictably in greenhouse cycles, offering growers reliable results for seasonal market peaks.
